Songblogging a train rideI took a cross-country train trip, from New York City to Tucson, Arizona, over the Christmas holiday, and song-blogged the entire trip -- wrote a new song every day, recorded it on the train, and made a video to go with it, using the photos I took from the train. Once you get on a train with a guitar and some harmonicas, you really can't resist the impulse. Especially if you're also carrying a digital recorder, a digital camera, and a laptop. These machines kill fascists, as long as you can keep the batteries charged. Anyway, here's the final result:
I'll be ringing in the New Year at the Living Room, with Doug Hatt and Fresh Baked and special guest Andrew T. Hunt. We go on at 10 -- come by and sing some Auld Lang Twyne! More on the news page. |
